Radio 2 Concert

#1 Post by BimboDuncan »

Has anyone heard yet if they have been successful in getting tickets to the Radio 2 concert on 8 May?

The site actually says...

"The competition closed at midnight on Sunday 16th April 2006. Winners will be notified by 20th April. Winners will be chosen at random from all correct entries received. Winners must make their own way to and from the venue"

Well I guess there's always the possibility that they notified the winners days ago and none of us won... :?

Typical...if the question was a bit trickier then true PSB fans (ie. us!) would have had more chance...as it is, some U2 fan will probably get my ticket...

I'm sure most of the tickets have been snapped up by BBC honchos and employees, friends of the orchestra, friends of Neil and Chris etc. There were probably only a few tickets available to win anyway - the theatre is not that large.

I probably shouldn't tell anybody this, as it reduces my chances of winning, but you can win a pair of tickets (yes, one pair!) on the 6music website.
What? You even want a link?
