Fundamentalism 2 tracks original versions?

I was just wondering... :roll:
If "Fundamentalism" contains remixes of 2 new tracks:
Fugitive (Richard X extended mix)
In private (Stuart Crichton club mix)
where are the original versions of them?

'In private' is on Dusty Springfield's album 'Reputation' pefromed by Dusty and on single 'In private', of course.
It was performed by Neil on Barfly gig a year ago or so.

Don't know anything about 'Fugitive'...

Hasn't it been said elsewhere on this forum that the Richard X version of Fugitive effectively is the original (not the original demo, but the song was unfinished until PSB brought in Richrad X) and the Crichton mix of "In Private" could be the only version of the (PSB recording) of the song, too.

Yes - these must be the original versions. Just like the 12" versions on Introspective were the original versions.

But they weren't called Left To My Own Devices (Trevor Horn Extended Mix) or I'm Not Scared (David Jacob Club Mix)!

But they could easily have been called that - that's the point. For example the version of 'Domino Dancing' on there is actually the Disco Mix, from which the 7" was edited.

It doesn't matter what title you give the tracks - they can still be the definite versions.

I think it's all marketing. The names Richard X and Stuart Crichton can help to boost sales.
