In fact, it seems they are the whole songs. 'Dreaming Of The Queen' sounds great!

I've been around the world for a number of reasons. I've seen it all the change of seasons, and I, my lord, may I say nothing?

Interestingly enough, the little blurb about the show and tomorrow's airing does not mention Robbie Williams.

Hurrah!!

Interesting, so those four tracks won't appear on the broadcast. Also, it says "Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe also talk about their songwriting history with Stuart Maconie." I'm guessing the 1.5 hour running time includes this interview.

I've downloaded the audio files, but they aren't high quality (Audio Codec: 64 Kbps Stereo Music (RealAudio G2) 44100 Khz)

Drunk sounds amazing, I love this version.

Queen is the worst of the four, but good anyway.

After all sounds suspiciously similar to the Potemkin CD.

Numb is quite good, I like it.

IMO, the worst thing are the chorus voices in the songs... rather bad and cheap.

Drunk should always be played like that. its too beautiful to just be a bare bones acoustic song.I also thought that nylon string acoustic guitar sounded great on "numb" wish it was on the fundamental version.makes it sound more exotic.

neil certainly was singing very good that night also.

Yup Drunk is very good, along with Numb and Dreaming Of The Queen. Pity about the quality and to think the BBC used to be the bastion of high quality broadcasting standards..even if this isn't broadcasting as such.

Talking of the Queen, Neil and Chris should really have an OBE or something by now.
Sorry for going off on a tangent..the thought occured to me while I was listening to Dreaming. Neil should also be nude when he goes to collect it :D.

What is an "OBE"?

edit: I found it already: Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire 8)

Hmmm I wonder if those tracks on the website are still rough mixes or if the final Trevor Horn mixes will sound like that tonight... I know that the quality of those files isn't too good because they're streams, but the mixes still sound a bit funny, don't think they could be released as a live album sounding like that.
Still can't wait for tonight though... some nice beers and 90 minutes of PSB on the radio... :boo:
