Is it just me or does "I'm With Stupid" sound a lot like the signature song by Livign In A Box?

Living In A Box died in a box around the fall of 1987. They were great guys, I guess.

Well Yeah... I guess it is just me then. But listen to the arrangement, in a way the are very similar. I haven't thought of that band in ages until I herard I'm with stupid. It would make an excellent mash up.
BTW the lead singer did do backing vocals for "If Love Were All," so there is a PSB - LIAB connection already.

I said music wise...if you look at groups that way, then there are many "simillar" bands around: Cutting Crew, Curiousity Killed the Cat etc, etc etc. If you still wish to compare Johanny Hates Jazz to sth, Curiousity Killed the Cat is much more appropriate one, not Living in a Box...

You didn't "say" music-wise, but I know that is what you meant. I was merely pointing out that I liked Johnny Hates Jazz better and the reason I thought of comparing them were the ones stated above. Plus it was an excuse to mention Johnny Hates Jazz as I think it is rather an overlooked band who made a fantastic album.
