Question for Londoners: where to buy PSB rarities?

I'll be flying from Washington DC to attend the Tower of London show (

) and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good record store where I may pick up old vinyl or promos. I know Sister Ray, but is there another one you recommend?

The days of searching through dark record stores in seedy back streets are long gone.

They have a load of stuff in Selectadisc, Berwick Street, Soho W1.

If you're in Berwick Street visting Sister Ray, then pop over to Reckless (on the other side of the road) - I think they still have the 2 stores.

Record & Tape Exchange may have some 12"s but they tend to put their unremoveabel price labels on them!

Ive picked up a few promos before in specialist dance stores - though if they have anything its likely to be the Stupid Promos.

Sister Ray has amalgamated with Selectadisc which as of the other day has more PSB back catalouge than reckless. Stupid promos you can get from quite a few online dealers for 5.99. I got the Abe Duque dub which imo is the best remix, dunno why they didn't release it.

As far as I know, there are also some good second hand store near Queensway underground station.

Yeah, of course, techno, like you can find Liza's and Cicero's PSB collaboration singles in your local record stories.

ps. Music And Video Exchange, apart from base shops in Nothing Hill, is also placed in Camden Town.

There's another Reckless Records shop near The Angel on the tube – turn right out of the station, go up the street and it's opposite the (very nice) Slug and Lettuce pub.

'Beanos' in Croydon, Train from London Bridge to East Croydon. They are swamped with PSB stuff.

This one has been closed since last year or so.

The largest collection of PSB rarities are in Sister Ray in Berwick Street and the Music and Video Exchange in Notting Hill - especially the latter has quite an impressive selection on the first floor. It's just not the same now that everything can be bought on Ebay and online stores though.
