It's slow and not easy to navigate. Although it looks very good.

I think one thread *against* the new official should be
enough.
I don't like it very much as well but it was at least Pets
decision, wasn't it? We've to cope with it. C'mon ...

I really hope they solve this speed problem, I guess they are changing servers or something. All I know is that today it's running so slow that any page can take up to 5 minutes to fully load. I won't be visiting it if it stays like this.

Considering the fact that it will NOT open on either of my computers... guess what I think of it?

I must admit navigating in the history area is hard. Once you have reached a point you want to read, the site just continues scrolling, because this movement is down to the position of the mouse cursor in the window.
And there are mistakes in the discography section.

Give it a chance. The flippin thing has only been online 2 minutes and the fans are complaining already. I seem to remember similar problems when the last site was in it's infancy.

If its no better in a months time, I'm sure the boys will realise and put measures in place.

Anyone remember the bashing that the old site got when it was launched?

Well, it seems to be working fine for me now! Hasn't buggered up for quite a bit and I'm currently enjoying listening to A Red Letter Day: Trouser Autoerotic Decapitation mix for the first time  8)

Do like it (when it is working). Very surprised that you can hear almost every song completely!

Agreed.
Let's give them some time anyway...

the fact that it has to redraw lines at every click is annoying
flash is great but in this case it is abused
plus the lack of background pix in the main page makes it not very appealing

The new site seems to lack a lot of content. I can't register as a Pethead (again) and the tour section is disappointing, as they've got rid of the facility for users to posts their comments and photographs.

Already the news on the front page is out of date (the new site launch bit 'Today') and as for the up/down arrows.. crikey. Some of the dates on the chronology (history) are incorrect too.

The design is good, albeit, somewhat frustrating to navigate.

And, why oh why use the colours from Introspective, when this album is more than 15 years old?!

But hey, when have we never moaned about something new in the PSB world?!! :D
