... where to now?

After a series of themed projects, surely it's time for an "album of fab pop songs, like ten Kylie Minogue singles” (to use Neils words... was the original intention for Behaviour)

I'm not saying recent albums havent had awsome singles and tracks... but they generally have had either gloomy, sombre or stark art production and theme ... maybe it's time for something Very-esque!

I hope they do an electro album with songs like Psychological

Dark and abstract is best.

Integral wouldn't feel out of place musically on Very.

Neither would Luna Park (in a Liberation / Dreaming Of The Queen kind of way).

I wouldn't mind. "Psychological" has grown to be a favourite of mine. More stuff like that, please!

I'd like a stark, electronic album, working with an upcoming producer who is pioneering new soundscapes in the electro/ digital arena.

I don't think you can force art, even pop art. Fundamental is their most consistent album thematically and was no doubt influenced by world events and writing Potemkin. Even a killer *pop* track like Fugitive is shrouded in post-9/11 reality.

I've been wondering what Fundamental would've sounded like had they kept it synth-only.

A far lesser album. The production is beautiful and complements the dark vision. I love the way the tracks intrude on each other and are symbiotically related: Sodom and Gomorrah is the high before the low of Luna Park, Integral destroys the optimism of Indefinite leave and God willing is the resurrection after Numb.
