Robbie's forthcoming album - new info

So I was out last night having dinner with some mates.

One of them happened to say:

‘Oh I heard the Robbie album the other day’.

‘and’ we all said in unison.

Well he’s done a cover of Stephen Duffy’s ‘Kiss Me’.

‘ok’ we all said.

And a song called ‘King of Bongo’

‘yes we know about that’ we said in unison.

‘Oh and a duet with the Pet Shop Boys about Madonna called ‘She’s Madonna’'

Collective choking on food …..!

‘It’s very funny’ he said

And he sings ‘We’re the Pet Shop Boys’ as well….

Stunned silence !

So those hoping for some major exposure of PSB to a new audience may well get it this year with Robbie’s new album.

And how will all those gay fans cope huh? Robbie and the PSB’s singing about Madonna………!

I think that sounds rather fascinating. Whilst I don't always like everything he does, I think Robbie has been one of the more interesting pop stars of the past decade. I can't quite picture him singing "We're the Pet Shop Boys", but Neil did say that the cover they did with him was quite off the wall. Can't wait to hear "She's Madonna"! Hope it a single!
