U-MYX: Utterly Pointless

#1 Post by ChoonHound »

..am I missing something? Other than nicking clean samples what is the point???

Fancy turning tracks on an’ off to create your own highly ridged radio edit?

Umm..no.

!: If you reply with a link to another topic in this forum I will spend every moment of sleep tonight dreaming of punching you in the face over, and over, and over again. :)

Lucas.

PS, I just got CD2 today. ;)

Looking at the more than 300 mixes uploaded to the U-myx PSB microsite, I think a lot of people isn´t finding it so pointless as you did...;)

There's also been more than 15,000 user submitted mixes downloaded- so i think people in general have enjoyed it.

It's a nice little bonus to play around with.
They make a little go along way.. very Minimal but Fundamental.

The good thing about U-MIx is that you can crack it, save seperate tracks and then create your own, new remix.

I already did one and I'm working on a second. Dunno where to upload them, though, to share them with you.

It's a nice thing to play with but hardly useful for remixing. At least you get the vocals as WAVs and can copy them into a software like Cubase.

With U-Myx I've only done a simple 'official' instrumental version of the album mix and an acapella.

I use usually quite long playing with it and making new mixes.
