Danish band will support PSB in Ludwigslust

#1 Post by madsnielsen »

The Alpine has been asked to support Pet Shop Boys on one of their two concerts in Germany this year. On Saturday the 2nd of September we will hit the stage in Ludwigslust right before this legendary UK duo. We are very honoured that they've given us this chance and look forward to kick start 5000 of their German fans.

I would like to but I haven't got a ticket so unless tickets are sold at the entrance I don't think I will be.

God works in mysterious ways...well, at least the music business does! In the 11th hour our support slot for Pet Shop Boys has been cancelled. Some stupid technical errors in the UK has caused this last minute change of plans and it's definetely something out of our hands. Sorry!
Strange! I would like to know what technical errors could cause something like this! Any suggestions?

Quite nice. It was ok. Nothing special, though.

The thing during "Always on my mind" with these huge Neil and Chris heads looks ridiculous ...

The gig was fantastic!! During 'Home and dry' Neil became a bit 'unplugged' and I got it all on video. I was at the front and caught the audience atmosphere there too on video. I'll try to get a link here sometime but don't hold your breathe. I'll do my best.
I met Pani :) and Gardner. Various links, photos coming in the near future.
Some fans climbed the fence to get Neil's autograph! All great fun.

It's all very odd. Perhaps The Alpine had some technical requirements for their show which the arrangers found out they couldn't supply after all.
It was a cough that carried him off. It was a coffin they carried him off in.
