Pointy Hats Help

Helllo all,

I would like to make a couple of Very-era pointy hats and was wondering if anyone has any tips for malking them? What kind of paper or materials to use, how to get them to stay on the head, that kind of thing.

Any help is much appreciated!

I'd take some stirdy white cardboard, fold it round and paint some orange stripes on it...

You could save time by popping a traffic cone on your head.

I have made one myself. It´s just a bit poor one and doesn´t fit in a suitcase. So if you wanna see PSB abroad you gotta take train. :lol:

I flew to Spain with my pointy hat in a plastic bag... I took a cardboard sheet, cut a rather large semicircle, then folded it, glued the edges, painted orange stripes around, pierced small holes on either side and inserted a string through them so that the hat would stay on my head. Turned out rather believable. A fan in Valencia even asked me if it was the original from the Can You Forgive Her video, which of course it wasn't.

Thanks for the tips!

I think I will just try to make one from cardboard and try until I get one right.

We might walk around with them on at night to promote our show - but I think they would fall off if we tried to play live with them. Now all I need is an orange track suit. :)

I think he meant milking them.
