Anyone care to explain how he got so huge?
Does anyone actually think Robbie Williams is a good singer?

I've never understood the UK's fascination with him. And listening to the BBC concert just now has reinforced my opinions on his completely lacklustre singing abilties.

What is it with some Americans and the need to "GET" or "Understand" what the UK likes about an artist.gomorrah wrote:well, as an American, I don't get it. I've listened to some of his stuff, specifically Angels, Feel etc. I still don't get it. his voice is pretty nondescript.... maybe it's something the Brits see/get that we/I don't. oh well.
The point is that there is NOTHING to GET.
He is an entertainer and once part of a boy band, like Justin was to N-Sync.
And like Robbie, there is nothing to GET about Justin.
I think Neil said something similar about PSB success in America, because theyy simply didn't GET the PSB package, and like Neil said there is nothing to GET!
Rant over! Nothing personal!

what I don't 'get' is his popularity over in the UK.
