Bananarama & PSB enjoy bitchcraft..
Lol, this is really nothing, but a cute anecdote from Keren of Bananarama in an interview with arjanwrites.com :
>>
How important are your gay fans?
They're hugely important to us. I don't know why we have become such gay icons. I have no bloody idea what it is. Gay have an absolute lust for life and a real enthusiasm and they're not afraid to show it. Straight crowds love the music but during live performances they generally don't have the energy to throw themselves wholeheartedly into it.
Who is your favorite gay?
Pet shop Boys! They're my favorite gays. I haven't seen them in a while, but we have dinner occasionally. We sit down and bitch and bitch for hours on end.
I'd love to be a fly on the wall during those dinners.
You would. Believe me. There is no stone left unturned.

Hmmm, if they adore Neil & Chris so, why they declined "One Way Street"?
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."

But Neil is the singer so people think Neil has more influence on PSB. So if Chris came out, I don´t think it´d affect that much. Just like in Neil´s case, everyone knows already.Tom Angel wrote:Chris should come out? To reduce record sales further like when Neil came out. That was worst thign that happened to the boys imo, they went from a pop band to being a 'gay' band.
Interviewer:
-What would you tell someone about yourself if you wanted to impress them?
Chris:
-I´ve got a 12-inch plonker.

Sigh. Who cares? Is there anyone left anywhere that doesn't know Chris is -gasp- gay?
Why is this still intriguing, or an issue, or anything? Does anyone here want to argue that Chris has ever been straight? Here's a Euro, buy yourself a clue.
Big deal. I'd love to be a fly on the wall for some PSB/Banana bitchery, lol..
