#1 Post by baddijo »

Has anyone heard of any boost in sales or of re - entering charts after reduced price at record shops?
New life new love,

I was dreaming of,
I need a...
new hope, new dream,
another heart in a diffirent scene....

Last week album re-entered to dance albums chart at 15th (currently -1). Don't sure if low price edition' sales played a part in this boost, honestly.
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."
(Neil Tennant, speaking about "Elysium" on the eve of "Electric" release.)

No, it didn't re-enter the top 200.

I think at £3.99 it was £1 too cheap to qualify for the regular album chart.

I'm not sure if that's correct, if it's the same barcode it'll count.
in suits or sequins/or twin sets and pearls

Doesn't chart qualification depend on dealer prices, not retail prices?
