A pure PSB jewel found on YouTube.
Hi,
If you are a fan, I invite you to watch this absolutely pure jewel that my good friend debbieveda found on YouTube. It's a very early performance of West End Girls on a Europe show. Neil is so funny and Chris do DANCE behind his keyboard !!! I laugh so loud when I first watch it. Really worth it !
Enjoy,

Classic. You couldn't really say Classic Pet Shop Boys because it's nothing like any of their performances around that time. It's great to see Chris enjoying himself & expressing himself. I prefer stillness..."Stillness is great".
This is the magic behind the Pet Shop Boys. Look how basic they were at the start of their career. The clothes (fashionable then ofcourse), their apperance's on stage with very little equipment. They certainly worked their way up the success ladder...what a journey!!! No X-Factor treatment for them.

The original West End girls mix isn't as bad as I remember. The harder edge actually suits the modern electro scene better than the slick Stephen Hague remake which made them famous.
Is it just me, or do some of Neil's moves on this clip seem very Bowie inspired???
I'm sure Neil would cringe or laugh hysterically (possibly both) at the last 40 seconds of that clip.
Very much looking forward to the DVD release here in Australia.
Retro.
