The Concrete & ALIPop Argentinean releases (final info)

#1 Post by Oznerol »

According to the latest EMI info sent to local record shops, 'Concrete' & 'A life in Pop' will be out here next week!!
The strange thing is that the releases are listed as 'Live CD' and 'Live CD + DVD' :?: :?: Time will tell if this is just bad info or there will be a pack including the full set...(??)

Typical marketing....Like buses, you wait ages for one then two come together!!
Still, more collectors material. Like you say time will tell.

I can assure you as a bus driver myself I like to run in groups of three's because that really pisses the public off & it's now the only job satisfaction I get...apart from leaving people behind at stops...

lol, my Grandad was a bus depot manager, my dad was a driver and one of my brothers was a driver too! I used to get on for free and drive round all day with them. The amount of tossers that get on and give shit is unbelievable. And as for school runs...

Yeah! I get so much shit I'm really thinking about giving it up in the next year & going back to coaches or lorries (I only do driving jobs) & as for school runs never again...I've had em' set fire to the bus once & if you get out of your seat your the one who gets in trouble...so you have to follow em' home & beat the little shits up in your own time.

yeahh, It might be a new package including Concrete + A life in pop 8)
but it could be more expensive  ....................
like special editions from Japan (they are always different to the rest of the world  ) ......
Probably is just a misinformation from local EMI

Delayed one week...
Apparently, is confirmed that there'll be a CD + DVD combo...but I still have serious doubts about it...
Anyway, here´s the confuse, with no details, additions on the PSB section of the local EMI Arg site:

A neeewww delay...
Apparently EMI has some "invoicing problem" ( :?: :?: ) that´s why in the last two weeks they didn´t release any kind of stuff (not just the PSB related)...let´s see how long it takes to get solved...

PSB and Moby are two of the big names with new releases delayed by this situation...

CONCRETE is out!!!! It hits the streets today!!
I still haven´t put my hands on it, but a friend of mine already had! The cover is the same as we already know, with glossy paper (not matte) on the booklet...
Anyway, no news about the DVD...
More detailed info later (I hope)...I have a loong working day today... :(

mmm...I´m not sure where the pressing plant is but for sure not on the overpopulated Buenos Aires...I think it´s on some quiet place somewhere over this big country...maybe far away on the south lands...on the old days, VHS tapes were manufactured on "Tierra del Fuego", really at the bottom of the nation...
