Nah, we'll be champions next season - once we actually get some players, seen as 80% of the current squad are going back after loan spells or out of contract! Some big ones there for us next season... Can't wait to get the coach to Gillingham and Carlisle!

I'm hoping to consolidate in The Championship, I predict mid-table finish for the Seasiders! Leeds will have to battle hard if they're to get promoted from League One, if they show the same commitment as last season then they'll struggle.

Probably! Away from home, Spurs bottle it. Expect it to be on t.v as well because Sky will obsess over Roy Keane.

Native ;- Leeds should walk the division but as you know, it's not the players, its how the clubs being run. Last season, Leeds had some top drawer players and still struggled.

Roll on the footy season. I cannot take anymore of standing out in a field, getting soaked and getting smashed in the shins with a cricket ball.

What do you expect on the first day?

At Leicester, were not sure whats going to happen as yet, all we know is that it cannot get any worse. We do expect to beat Blackpool, even though they finished last season in tremendous form.

Strong rumours today that Terry Henry is off to Liverpool for 30 million. Thats the sort of player that takes you from a consistent 3rd and 4th place finish, to winning the league.

It ain't happening. We don't have that kind of money for one thing. Second, I doubt if we did have it, that we would spend it on a 30-year-old striker with a recent history of injury problems. Thirdly, I can't see Arsenal selling him to us.

So, to sum up, it's horseshit.

Liverpool will likely sign Benayoun and the striker Milito from Zaragoza (maybe his defender brother too). Not Eto'o. Not Henry. Not any of these big names that are being bandied about. We don't have that kind of cash, and our manager is not the kind who goes in for big name players.

Quietly confident of good things for the Rovers this season. Been saying that for a couple of seasons now, but we won the Johnstones paint trophy this season and have made two excellent signings so far, with Neil Sullivan being almost nailed on now and a defender in the offing too.

Already have my season ticket. :)

There was a Liverpool die hard on Talksport yesterday, adamant Henry was set to sign for Liverpool. I rabbited on a bit in deep Liverpudlian accent, but he basicly said that his "contact" assured him of the deal.

How much would a previous to injury great footballer at 30 cost?

Neil Sullivan the goalie, as goalie, Steve?

I expect Doncaster to be there or thereabouts this season. Sean O'Driscoll is a good manager.

I hope Neil Sullivan has lost weight though because last time I saw him he was resembling another former Doncaster keeper - the binman, Neville Southall :P

Thing is with Henry, 30 million for even 2 years could be a bargain because he wins games on his own. I find it hard to believe though. He seems a loyal footballer, so i doubt he will stay in England.

I didn't think Neil Sullivan was still playing. Then again, keepers play until they are 45 with a diet of burger and chips.

As for league one, Notts Forest have got an excellent squad and i cannot see anyone beating them to the championship this year. Neil Lennon is a top signing for that division. Their downfall is that the job is too big for Colin Calderwood. With Leeds being in there, it's the strongest it's been for some time.

Sulli is a big chap, but he's no Neville Southall! He'll be a quality signing for L1 level. I expect it will be announced this week, as there (was) a press conference due tomorrow. I've heard it might be delayed, but it's clear someone is signing very soon. :)

Forest should have strolled it last season. I wouldn't like to say whether they'll do it next season or not. Consistency isn't their strong point.

There'll be a few teams there or thereabouts this season. Rovers are in with a good chance and I'd be very disappointed if we didn't make at least the play offs.

Notts forest will do well if they keep their most influential players, Commons and Holt. I just hope they never ever get even so much as a throwing from now on until they fold, go bankrupt and the groud is knocked down :D

Lennon was good, but my uncle who watches Celtic, says he's lost what speed he did have, he wasn't even good enough for a return to his old club Leicester, he's only 3rd division quality.

Leicester have signed six players so far, this week, charlton midfielder rod kishishev and former Ajax and Anderlect midfielder, Sergio Hellings. We have Carl cort and Bruno N'gotty who helped Birmingham win promotion last season.

With more expected, and more rubbish leaving, we will have a chance for sure.

They call our manager Martin Allen MadDog, he growls, even in a quiet interview.
