New Fighter Jet for RAF

£66.7 million for one of the new fighter planes the RAF has just bought and they are not sticking to just one. We have poverty on our streets, troops in Iraq and Afganistan being killed because they don't have proper kit, flood defences failing us; and now in this video they say they are sending these planes to combat in Afganistan....what utter madnes.

Can't argue about the need for spending elsewhere, and let's not get in to the legalities aurrounding the conflicts in Iraq and Afganistan - but it's called defence and that's how much this sort of kit costs these days. As for the delays - let's not go there!

We live in very uncertain times I'm afraid - and not just from the shocking weather in this country!
