PSB & Kylie again?

#1 Post by Kris »

According to the gossip section in yesterday's London Lite, which admittedly is probably not the most reliable source in the world, PSB are collaborating on a new Kylie track, believed to be called 'Fill Me With Desire'. In a tediously predictable show of lazy journalism, the paper described the track as a "camp-tastic tune".
Passion, love, sex, money, violence, religion, injustice and death. More on that story later.

If it's true and if it's going to be something like "Your disco needs you" (No PSB I know but very camp) I think I'm game let's see what happens.

Hee could this be D4 related "D4 the collaboration album"? (Elton john, Robbie williams, Peter Rauhofer (A new PSB maxi mix), Madonna ect.)

If it's true and if it's something similar to "Your disco needs you", I'll be very happy indeed!

Another collaboration would be nice, but I don't think we need a predictable camp tune. I prefer something more poppy and melodic, like She's Madonna.

But it could be a not sense if the collaboration will pass under silence like the previous with Robbie and Madonna (nobody in Italy for example knew that She's Madonna was a collaboration with PSB and Sorry remixed by N&C). The Boys should be a great duet in their next album to lauch it like a single with a top ten artist but a PSB single not Neil singing in a song of another singer.

They should have called it, 'She's Like Madonna'....

Yes, PSB should be involved in the same way as with Dusty on "What have I done to deserve this"!

Let's not forget PSB also wrote Falling for Kylie. The PSB version was light & fluffy but by the time Kylie recorded it, it became a moody, dreamy piece.

I welcome another K/PSB collabortion. Another YDNY would be great. Another Falling would be good. Another In denial would be abysmal.

Yes, I should have added that to the 'If you could erase something from PSB's career... ' thread.

I am willing to concede that In denial is a good enough song - when viewed as a portion of the Closer to Heaven score.
But the Neil / Kylie duet just doesn't work. It sounds forced & emotionally flat. I jusrt don't buy those 2 as father & daughter.
Kylie must like it though. Didn't she use it during a recent tour?

Poor Kylie. She won't be able to miraculously escape the curse of PSB one more time.
