Songs re-entering the Charts

#1 Post by Blogo »

This week saw a few songs re-entering the UK charts:

"I wouldn't normally do this kind of thing" 12"/12" (#118);

Paninaro '95" 12"/12" (#89)

Before" 3x12" (#138 on album chart).

Bye!

Are you reading the footnotes correctly?

Also, fundamental double gold? I doubt it, the bpi website still shows silver.

You are right, someone is vandalising the PSB page on Wiki

OK. First off, it wasnt THIS week.

1. I Wouldnt Normally Do This Kind Of Thing was issued on 2 separate 12" singles long after the 7"/MC/CD1/CD2 were issued. They wern't eligible for the chart but they charted on their own accord.

2. Ditto with Paninaro 95.

3. Ditto with Before. Because Before was a triple pack or the running time was over a certain length, it registered as an album.

Apparently. In the page history you can read that One In A Million charted at #45 as a single. Nonsense, of course.

For UK chart results, I personally use www.polyhex.com

Fundamental reached #4 in the German album charts. Given the fact that the UK has around 60 million inhabitants, where Germany has 82 million, the absolute number of sales of Fundamental in Germany is likely to be higher than in the UK.

Fundamental also reached Top 10 in some other European countries.

Yes, in all seriousness, are there some websites which offer sales figures for releases?
