The Black Lorry was driving down the road with no lights on. There wasn't even any moonlight yet the Old lady waiting to cross the road still managed to see the lorry coming. How come ?

Patrick's right- she was a dire racist, and went to pen an indignant letter to the local paper about allowing that sort of lorry to just arrogantly bound through the town that way. Swaying in that presumptuous, rythymic way.
