Just found out that the keyboard player of Climie Fisher, Rob Fisher, died in 1999 of cancer aged 39.
Absolutely adore 'Love Changes Everything'... possibly the best Pet Shop Boys song never to have been written or performed by someone else.
Funnily enough in the video.. he kinda reminds me of Chris !
Perhaps the PSB should cover it.. timeless classic

I don't think anyone's covered Being Boring have they? I'd say that was pretty much top of the pile.joe stalin wrote:possibly the best Pet Shop Boys song never to have been written or performed by someone else.
And no, the West End Girls don't count.

Sorry.. I meant the best pet shop boys song not written or performed by the PSB.... i.e it could so easily be a PSB song but is nothing to do with them...

How homo-erotic is the video for said song?
Spookily enough, it's quite a forerunner to the Being Boring clip.
I'm still not sure about the song being PSB-ish though. By the looks of that vid I'd say Neil would be more interested in seeing Simon Climie rise to the occasion.

Re: Climie Fisher
Their first album is a rare pop gem from the year when S/A/W dominated the UK pop scene. Aside from the two UK Top 10 hits there is also I Won't Bleed For You which I can't believe stalled outside the Top 30 and Room to Move which Animotion latered covered in a version which ended up reaching the US Top 10. Their second album was forgettable, or at least if it wasn't, I don't remember it not being. Simon Climie's solo album Soul Inspiration has a very nice title track, which I believe was also its lead single.
Rob Fisher was in a band called Naked Eyes before Climie Fisher. Their version of (There's) Always Something There to Remind Me is something of a New Wave standard.

Marvellous band. I came across to the vid of Love changes everything when I watched a tape of videos my aunt had recorded for me (because there was PSB in the programm too).
