Choose a new name for Erasure
In order to get airplay on Radio 1, Erasure fans are lobbying for them to change their name so that they are treated without prejudice. So let's help them find that perfect pseudonym!!!!!

Re: Choose a new name for Erasure
I heard they think they aren't played on Radio 1 because they have had five number 1 albums
Cant see the point in changing the name though. A pretty sad and pathetic idea in a desperate attempt to get on the radio again. They would get played if they put out a good enough song.

Re: Choose a new name for Erasure
It's a genius idea. People will be sitting there saying "Hmm, it sounds like Erasure but it can't be because they're called something else." It's the only way they will ever overcome the hatred and jealousy of the media.Undertaker wrote:I heard they think they aren't played on Radio 1 because they have had five number 1 albums![]()
