They must be livid Pete Burns beat them to it. Isn't it the last Celeb BB? Losing that 200K fee will probably be a greater punishment for Boy George than the prison sentence.

I don't mind Celebrity Big Brother although they'll never match the unholy triumvirate of Barrymore, Burns, and Galloway. Can't they just set it in a prison and send in all the celeb offenders like George, Glitter and OJ? They could even have a real serial killer in there in a shocking reversal of the fake celebrity idea that they had with Chantelle.

I sometimes ponder whether we should have a Community Big Brother thread where we can vote posters IN to the thread every week (and take away their rights to partake in any other threads while they are in there). After a satisfying number of participants have been selected, we can vote the most worthy of reintroduction to the main board back out each week. It could be particularly useful before any major PSB campaigns are due to start and that's before we even consider the entertainment value.

Boy George wants to participate so the public can see what he's really like. Well, George, you have been fined and done community service in America and falsely imprisoned somebody and beat him to a pulp, with it came a 15 month jail sentence. I think the public have a decent idea what he's like.

May as well start up I'm a Serial Killer, Get Me Out Of Here'. George could co host it with Dennis Nilsen, who butchered several gay men in his London flat in the early 80's. They should get on pretty well.

Let people like Sutcliffe, Brady and the Black Panther loose on Broadmoor, where they have to survive severe conditions, public votes and a series of trials, where the first to make it to the end, is allowed back on the loose within the general public.

Frank Bruno and Jimmy Saville will prepare them for the physical onslaught that awaits...
