Re: June 2010 Listening thread
I've started listening to Kraftwerk this month. So far I've heard "The Robots", "The Man Machine" and "The Model", I quite like all three. The Model almost reminded me of PSB's Shopping. I do see similarities between both bands at the moment. I never thought I'd like electronic/synth music as much as I do.

It's OK. I found it a bit strange at first because of the raggae ...skyhigh wrote:what do you think of it Pani?
I missed the typical hymns, the 'God Is A DJ' kind of thing, there
are a lot of slow songs, I like the fast songs better. I like Dido on
it.

Re: June 2010 Listening thread
Does anybody know why Tripomatic Fairytales 2001 wasn't re-released? I was just googling it to see how much it is to buy on cd and there are only old used copies available. I loved that album.
Re: June 2010 Listening thread
most of the people who liked it have died of ecstatic tablets and meow meow, I read this fact in the Mail
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

Re: June 2010 Listening thread
Jam and Spoons remix of Young Offender was good, but the rest of the stuff they do is boring garbage.
And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]
[BOOSH! BOOSH!] (What was that?) Pet Shop Boys

Re: June 2010 Listening thread
yeah right, Age Of Love remix is crap like Butterfly Sign et al. Still trance is repetitive unlike shite polls
