Forum Apology

#1 Post by York Minster »

I'm sorry.

I've posted to much and too much has been asinine.

While I have made many posts that contribute to discussion, much has been lost because of the asinine posts. Though some polls have been unfairly criticised, many are fairly criticized.

I resolve from this time to be a kinder, gentler, more refined FoF. I'm sure you all can tell that I do love PSB. I'll try to refrain from extraneous posts. I ask that if and when I do make a post that seems extraneous that I am gently reminded, instead of a full lashing from PB or Undertaker. Thank you for your help.

I am not a perfect person. I have a life just as you do. Thank you for your understanding.

It's like one of those interviews from a celebrity when they have been found guilty of something. A few crocodile tears but still full of excuses ;)

On a serious note ;- Why should anyone remind you when you post something ''extraneous?'' You obviously know what you're posting, so don't do it :?

For what it's worth, I thought some of the posts directed against FoF were mean spirited and rude.

But I do accept the comments and agree with the opening post on this thread.

Best to draw a line and move on with a fresh start.

Thank goodness for the tolerance in this forum.

That we can survive the storm of FirthOfForth posts until this thread appears
shows there is something really good here.

Someone loves being the topic of discussion. It seems he takes P.T. Barnum's words to heart.

I think FoF has posted lots of stuff that has rubbed people up the wrong way, but at the same time some of the responses to such posts have been pretty rough and some as far as breaking forum rules.

May I suggest this thread is used to learn from past events, draw a line under them and for everyone to move on afresh? I really don't want to get heavy with people when a little bit more thought and tact before posting would make life so much better for everyone.

Thank you.
