Apologies in advance for the depressing nature of this topic. I just feel it's worthy of some discussion, or thought at least.

I was travelling by bus today when I saw two adults get on with a small child. The child was dirty, barefoot, and being dragged along by one arm. The 'parents' were clearly stoned out of their heads on heroin or who knows what. I watched as the child was roughly shoved onto the facing seat, where she tried to stand up. The mother did nothing to restrain the baby, and as the bus lurched forward the little girl smacked her head on the glass window. Before I could fully comprehend this situation, the bus stopped and the couple got off, dragging the whimpering little girl by her twisted little arm behind them. I just wanted to snatch that child off them, and run with her. But you know what I did?..

Nothing.

Nine people saw this, but didn't want to get involved for obvious reasons. And I'm deeply ashamed to say, I was one of them. But I can't accept that there was nothing anybody could have done, and in hindsight I should at least have made a phonecall.

And we worry about whether 'gay people' should have the right to marry and have babies???!!

You will call the police to say the situation and the polivce will take the baby girl out of them,you will do SOMETHING to that child.And I think not evebody is GOOD to have a child,dont mind if they are gay or straight,not everybody is READY to have a baby,and obvious that persons dont was ready to have one,poor girl
