Well, Walken's role in the 007 movie A View To A Kill was originally offered to David Bowie, who is not such a huge fan of Avalon (preferring, as he does, early Roxy Music

), but he has covered Jacques Brel songs, as has Shirley Bassey (If You Go Away), who has also sung three James Bond themes.
