Just bought the new Little Boots album, Nocturnes, on vinyl and just saw that its on the Kolbalt Label Services...

Bethnal Green WMC is a fantastic place isn't it. A strange timewarped gem in the middle of rough London. I've filmed several things there including the Utah Saints Something Good '08 video there.

It's an excellent album MUCH better than her first.

And yes Tottenham, its a great little place, AND sell bitter!!

It's a really good album, it seems to have gotten lukewarm reviews but I think it's better than her first album. She just seems to have lost steam with the public, like she's been forgotten before she had a chance with a second album.

Best song is Crescendo, easily the best one, that should be a single.

I preordered from the Vinyl Factory and after seeing the lukewarm reviews and having it storm the charts at number 45 (!) i was worried. However, the reviews are completely wrong. It's a superb, warm work of pop electronica (poptronica?). Yes, there isn't a nailed on Top 10 on there, but actually, it's better for it. Goldfrapp in parts, Royksopp in others.

If anyone is into this album /Little Boots, you should also seek out the leaked 'Beat Of Your Heart' album that was scrapped and replaced with Nocturnes. It has 16 tracks that are (99%) great and give it a little more pop edge (Saint Etienne/Kylie)

Quite right. I don't know why the Beat of your hear album was scrapped. It's really good - as good as Nocturnes, IMHO - and there's one song called Pulse that's addictive. Pure fun disco. And the Dimitri from Paris mixes of Headphones are ace.
