To summerize, this 19-year old gentleman went on ebay to buy an Xbox One for his 4-year old son. However the listing on ebay was for a photograph of an Xbox One. Said so on the listing and the man knew it, but because it was on the consoles catagory, he bought it anyway. Indeed he got a photo of an Xbox One and paid £450
He went to the media with his sob story, and not only was he given a full refund from ebay and the seller is banned...

...but an employee of CEX gives him a free Xbox One as an act-of-kindness for his story.
Don't about you but to me its so ridiculous it sounds like a scam had taken place. Moral of the story is, it pays to be stupid. Don't think I'll shop at CEX again.
Not only that but an Xbox One had only come out recently. There are stock shortages and lots of people are waiting to buy it. Some people are buying an Xbox One, trading it in within a few weeks to CEX and they charge 20% more than what it cost brand new at Game/HMV etc. It sounds like people buying multiple copies of the PSB Electric vinyl release and selling it on ebay for an extra 500%, before they even got their hands on the copies they're selling.
