9pm there is a Documentary that is supposed to reveal "The Truth behind the moon landings"
Apparently it was a Fake! - tonights prog. is going to tell us How it was done!
It would be interesting to 'read' comments here from anyone who watches this prog. Seeing that it is not the first time those landings and Space Missions have been dissed as Fakes!
Last weeks show was interesting too All about Mega Lightening! Which actually appears to have brought down Columbia Space Shuttle, after it's mission into space to observe the Mega lightening!!!

There's a good case to say that some of the moon landing PHOTOS were faked. I don't think they actually faked the landings themselves. It's undisputable that they can go into space, launch satellites etc so I don't see why they can't go to the moon. The only problem is it would be tough to get such great photos there, weaing huge spacesuits and chest mounted cameras...

Of course they were faked. There was too much at stake for them in terms of the Cold War. Think about how difficult a moon landing actually is, in putting the rocket down so it can take off again without any problems. Even last year, there was a shuttle disaster.
It was truly the greatest hoax ever - dream of Californication............

Damn my Aerial !! Channel 5 is out of bounds for me......but I have to say I can't believe the original Moon landings were fake ! Neil Armstrong get here now and defend yourself 
Anyway, I am SO very glad I can at least get Ch4 because last night our 'Boyz' (PSB) got a 'mention' on the Liza Minelli documentary even though there was no interview but it showed Liza singing 'Losing my mind', and after that the film 'Caberet' was excellent 
Now back to the topic.....hmm....outer space scares me

Phew!! Thanks Glenny 4 -- I really thought I'd shown my self up as a complete PRATT!
I really do not have a wide knowledge of all the Progs that go out on anything other than the regular old fashioned TV stations! (hence my remark on that UKDocu of PSb on The Tube! )
Oh and thanks CBA that link looks quite interesting! -- a bit technical but worth looking at IMO , I happen to think we cannot be alone in this massive splatter of planets and stars after all : We came from outer space!
I remember there was a Film (cant recall the title) years ago , fiction that might have been based on fact. Where NASA or its fictional equivalent. put a bunch of astronauts out in a desert in some kind of massive hanger, where they supposedly filmed this space mission to a planet. The reason NASA did this, was because they funding had run out!. It all went well up to a point, but then some one 'blew' the story... blah blah. Good film in many respects.
I look forward in less embarrassment now to tonights C5 documentary.

It had all these sceptics saying what the anomolies were (flags fluttering with no wind, different angles of shadows etc.), then experts were trying to show how these might have occurred with the help of experiments and stuff.
It ended with evidence from scientists who have studied the rocks which were brought back from the missions. They argue that the rocks MUST have come from the moon because they were billions of years old, and the oldest rocks on Earth are only 100+ million years old.
