I think what's interesting here is actually the weeks in the chart for the Weeknd and Fleetwood Mac. I'm surprised there are no other entries for Ms Swift for any of her older albums inside the top 10.

Well done PSB - #2 with TS at #1 is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Lets see if she can do the same in 2046 in her 40th anniversary year.

Great news - more chance of a 4th single and associated b sides.

I suppose it was too much to hope that they would knock the praying mantis off top spot, but it's still their highest charting album in the UK since Very.

I said they should have tried to find the way to release the album before Taylor did it. Some people started to make fun of that. So another #2 in UK.

You were right but in the end it's at least interesting to see that they are still relevant.

Does anyone have a forecast on the US Billboard chart? Hotspot just about made it into the top 100 by the skin of its teeth.

Let's hope for a better outcome this time.

To change the release date announced in the movie at a worldwide scale just to get a cheap #1 would've been embarrassing. The album kicked ass in every physical category (#1 in all four of them) and overall they were 811 units behind (streaming considered) Taylor who is famous for her streaming farms and payola. Sorry, but a #2 after an extremely close fight against the biggest musical phenomenon in the world IN 2024 (43 years since their first meeting) is their biggest accomplishment in decades. They are happy about it and that's all we should care about.

This article suggest PSB probably knew Taylor was going to take them the Number One spot off when they said she didn't have a "Billie Jean".

I think is a bit more embarrassing to have so many #2, to be honest.
