"The schlager hit parade" could be a single (at least in Germany)

What do you think?

There a lot of possibilities of having a fourth single from the new album (even a fifth like Super or Electric had). Do you think there is a sixth single on the way?

1 - Loneliness - february
2 - Dancing Star - april
3 - A New bohemia - june
4 - Fourth Single - august (edited: Feel - september)
5 - Fifth Single - october
6 - The schlager hit parade - december

I don't know but I think PSB want to take part in some way of the schlager hit parade and a new version of this song for Christmas could be for coming, specially for German market (a German version of the song? maybe, Neil is working with his Duolingo). Something similar they did with Christmas EP.

Another EP for Christmas or maybe a single to promote Disco 5?

Just an speculation but I think they plan something more with this song for Christmas.

I think we would be lucky to get a 4th single.

I’m not sure that they would do a German only single again. They have done two already and neither set the charts alight.

I suspect there will be a fourth single. At the Manchester Q&A they were asked a question along the lines of if they had a fast-follower album on the racks ready to go - as they did with Electric following Elysium. He said they hadn’t, but to expect loads of b-sides instead. Which makes me think of around an album’s worth of extra tracks.
Woof.

Releasing a song in Germany that concerns forgetting the horrors of their past? That would go down like a dose of the clap. I think we'll be lucky to get any fourth single, at least a fourth proper CD single. Having said that it's surprising there hasn't been a single with a PSB remix so maybe we will be treated to Feel, WAID? or Schlager as a final single.

But that doesn't mean they'll be released as b sides with singles from this album.

If we don’t get a 4th single then the nonetheless period will be over after a new bohemia. That’s too short a time period. I think we will get one and a deluxe nonetheless with instrumentals and/or remixes. I don’t share Nicknames confidence though of that many singles.

It was definitely what he was inferring.

Wait, like Super and Electric had?

We're counting Axis and Fluorescent as singles?
If they're releasing them like that, I'd prefer them not releasing anything at all.

IMO Fluorescent was just an eBay scammers profit and Axis had 2 really awful mixes nobody ever heard.

Again, this is kind of the way artists release singles these days, don't they?
They just send the song standalone as a separate track on Spotify and call it a single.

Anyways, I'd love for Schlager to be a single but as said before on this thread the subject is quite controversial, I'm not sure if they'll dare.
They could release a remix mashed up with Maroon 5 and call it "Moves like Schlager"

I'd love to see The Schlager Hit Parade a single in December.
The references to Christmas. I could definitely imagine hearing "it's always Christmas or the sound of summer" at shops and shopping centres this summer here in Australia.

The job is done for "Schlager Hitparade".
It was the attention grabber to bring them into the german morning shows and evening news. That`s it.
Did you ever walk on a stormy night...

The opening lines are quite bleak for a Christmas song, agreed 😬

Yet one of the charms of this song is moving forward from darkness, not denying it all together.

On one of the YouTube 'funny clips' compilations, in an interview in Germany, Neil is asked if he knows any words in German, he says he likes 'genau' (exactly) and says that could be 'the title of our schlager album'.
Chris says, of course, 'nein'.

If you don't understand satire or irony then I can see why you'd think that.
