The shyness of young Chris Lowe
Re: The shyness of young Chris Lowe
This is great! I wonder has either of them ever explicitly stated they see themselves as an introvert or extrovert?
I get the feeling Chris is introverted but lets loose in certain environments. I wonder if Neil feels that Chris' shyness essentially forced him to be the "extrovert" of the pair, although as a journalist he'd have needed to have the ability to speak and ask questions and be somewhat of a people person to begin with. He just doesn't really come across that way to me I suppose but I do feel Neil craves/d the limelight more.

I love the unguarded intimacy of these early appearances. Just adorable.

Chris Lowe despite his shyness, managed to sh/ine on stage. It's worth considering hoow his personality influenced the the band's dynamics..Perhaps this balance between introversion and extroversion is what creates their unique style
