Zaho de Sagazan

I went to a concert of French singer Zaho de Sagazan last monday. I already saw her last year at a festival and she blew me away with her performance. At 25-30 degrees celcius, in the burning sun, I got goosebumps during La Symphonie des Eclairs, a beautiful song in the best French chanson-tradition. After that, she played some of her brutal techno tracks, also with a French edge.

Last monday in Amsterdam, she did the same but in a more intimate venue, indoors. I can easily say this was one of the best concerts I've been to. What a performer, what a voice and fantastic compositions. She reminds me of PSB with her love for beautiful songs and dancebeats.

Later this year she's going to do some concerts with orchestra, which I already hears a taster (she did a one-off with orchestra last year) and it works fantastic.

I'd really love to see PSB remix one of her tracks, preferably Hab Sex, which is just a banger which deserves a 12 minute PSB treatment.
