The Sound of The Atom Splitting 7-minute version

In the Alternative booklet Neil talks about the jam session that created Atomsplitting and that they had seven minutes of material.
The released full length version is 5:13, almost two minutes shorter.
Now, the question is what happened to these two minutes.
Was it not good enough for a release? or is there an unreleased 7 minute version in the vaults?

As much as I actually like Atom Splitting, the Alternative version does overstay it's welcome - maybe I can only take that type of assault on my ears for so long. A 7 minute version of it might even push me over the edge.

I'd rather have an album of Atomsplitting-music than the ballet stuff they've done. I needs great lyrics though.
