A very good listen. I had no idea he was one of the Maxwell "pensioners". Some good stuff about Volume too.

The "Fill in the Gaps" expanded diary is a cool idea actually, if he decides not to do a full memoir.
Also enjoyed the bit about how they are associated with traffic cones.

That was a fantastic listen. What good company Neil is. Thanks for sharing.
Re: Word In Your Ear podcast - Neil Tennant
Yeah it's very good. Sadly I think it's being overlooked as people don't realise it's a new interview and it hasn't been mentioned on the OS
Re: Word In Your Ear podcast - Neil Tennant
It’s mentioned on the OS as a Pet Text. The description does sound like a highlights reel of other Word Podcasts he’s been on
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

Odd that the Obscure shows weren't mentioned at all! Obviously there were 2 books to plug and even they weren't overly pushed - most of the conversation revolving around Neil's songwriting practices but it would have been nice to hear what he might have been happy to share about the rehearsals etc.

Re: Word In Your Ear podcast - Neil Tennant
In the episode after this (last Monday) they talk about "songs with the essence of Englishness" and Neil is mentioned. They even have a quiz about song titles: Is it Noel Coward or Neil Tennant?
