I'm a big fan of MJ and I'd love the idea. Am I the only one?

They'd probably said something if it had happened.
I'm sure MJ new West End Girls and that's why they were invited. It was Number 1 at that time in US and that's the kind of songs MJ used to like at that time, rap with electronic bits. That kind of dark songs you can listen walking down the streets.
The bassline of the first version of West End Girls was taken from Billie Jean as we know.
I'm sure MJ loved West End Girls.
By the way, I remember Neil imitating MJ's voice on a interview and he did really well.

Your ideas are obnoxious and immature.

See, I don't like this thread. If it was about MJ in general or about his recent, ginormous spike in popularity, I would be interested.
PSB in the style of MJ, what does that even mean. MJ has had several styles. Off the Wall is funk/disco, his singles from the early to mid 80s are more just pop, late 80s he went into Rock territory. 90s was a large leap into new jack swing, before tapering off into RnB in the 2000s before his untimely demise.
To me there isn't really an MJ sound. There's an MJ vocal style, that people imitate, but his music is varying. Stranger In Moscow doesn't sound like Smooth Criminal. Give In To Me, The Way You Make Me Feel, to me they're all very different sounding songs.
Namely In The Club Or In the Queue and New Boy.

It's okay he's just being sassy. I find it amusing.
A few of the early demos have a similar drum pattern to Billie Jean.telys wrote: Tue 19 May 2026, 9:53 am Didn't they nick the drums for West End girls'84 from Billie Jean or something?
