It's Alright Question

#1 Post by Aaron »

In the Introspective version, is it Neil that sings "boop-de-boddop-boop-boop-de-doop" to the beeping noise at 5:20?

I don't know how to respond....was so tempted to say...

(A) something about you being confused with the song "Bubbuadubbudabbadum" or whatever it is

or

(B) something about "Whatever it is, it is more coherent than most of your posts"

But then I saw your sig, and thought, "aw, screw it...." :?

I've always wondered that, too

But that guy doesnt sound much like Neil to me.

Just my 2 cents

Can't really say from memory.

Wasn't it Neil or Chris doing the "ee ee"s in One More Chance though? I guess anything is possible.

I definitely think it's him singing that. It sounds like him, anyway!

I recall it was one of the female vocalists on the album version. It sounds a lot more like that as well.

I think it sounds like Neil, possibly with his voice multi-tracked or something......

I'd never thought it was Neil until this thread, and to be honest I still don't.

I know some people don't like the Intro version, but I think it's an absolute gem. :)

Thanks for getting me to listen to it again! :)

It's Neil and it's terrible, like that blue......................sky outside.

I've never thought it was Neil either. I love that version of It's Alright though. *rummages through Real Player*

My favourite vesion of its alright by a mile, quite moody and uplifting at points, and I love the strange singing part too (If you can call it that!)
Is it just me or does everybody think that the alternative 10" mixes are pretty poor?

I think those more Hi NrG based mixes on the 10" are quite good. Some excellent percussion playing from Danny Cummings.

I love the 7" single mix and 10" version from the Introspective Further Listening.

I think the version on Introspective is rubbish.
