What language will the dialogue cards for the movie be written in? I've seen sample of one version of the movie here in the U.S. on DVD. The dialogue cards were written in Russian with English subtitles.
What was presented last year in London?
What is planned for the German tour in September?

I thought German might be the answer, but then I considered the soundtrack lyrics would likely remain in English. And aren't the Boys working off "their" version of the film, and not the newly restored German version from earlier this year?
Ideally it would great if the dialogue cards were in English with German subtitles (or vice versa).
I realize after I re-read my post that my question sounds a bit thick. What I was really asking was if the London performance had a restored print that replaced the Russian dialogue cards with English ones, or if English subtitles were used. If the former, I would expect German subtitles at the performance.
When Fritz Lang's Metropolis was screened in the U.S., the restored print replaced each German dialogue card with an English card - so, no subtitles. A lot more work was required with this silent film than simply dubbing the audio like in a new film, since dialogue cards are located within scenes - requiring significant re-editing of the actual film and not just a redub fo the audio.
I have access to an English dialogue file from the DVD, but still need to figure out how to "unlock it" in order to print the text. I'll spend the time only if necessary.
If you're attending one of the shows, would you post what you find?
