PSB versus Trevor Horn

"We think it's a great Pet Shop Boys album and also a great Trevor Horn record."

It's difficult to know what this sentence means musically talking. It's like Neil and Chris had written the songs and THE REST of work had been made by Trevor Horn and his team. So maybe the TH's influence on this album could be too much big.

I don't think so. Trevor know the boys pretty well and I don't think
Trevor will "kill" the boys work.....

I think you are reading waaaaaaay to much into the sentence, I think all it means is it's very much what many would consider the classic PSB/Horn sound ie. epic and over the top
