Depends which list you look at. There are slightly different versions posted on different sites. One of the new lists that came out today has dropped it though, so that's a good sign. I still don't believe they're actually going to release it.

With a bit of luck, the delay with Potemkin might see the single scrapped - if it was ever definitely planned in the first place.

Not everything that appears on these lists is for sure. "John And Elvis Are Dead" by George Michael was listed for a couple of months, with release date continually pushed back, until finally being dropped. But I don't think there were ever any concrete plans to release it and I think it's the same case with NTFT, it's just an idea PSB and Parlo have considered.

Those lists that are all over the internet have precisely *no official sources*. They are lists of information gathered from various internet discussion boards. The 'No Time For Tears' supposed release most probably came by someone reading about it on this board.

The info is more often than not inaccurate and takes ages to be edited/corrected. John And Elvis Are Dead was supposed to be a single *instead* of Round Here and the follow up single was Precious Box. But Sony decided not to release another single from Patience.

probably right. Last year there was an erroneous rumour posted on a forum like this about a single release and even though it was quickly rebutted within a week the song was appearing on these listings and stayed there quite a while. I wish I could remember what the song in question was.

I heard 'Move in my direction' for the first time the other day.

Its not altogether bad. Considering how awful it could have been.

Where has the third one gone? Is she dead?

Yes, because Stevens won't ever release such emotional and fantastic songs like "In my place", "Clocks" or "The Scientist". Coldplay are on a level Stevens can't even think of.

Yes, nobody wants to shag the dullards. Their songs are only emotional if you had never previously realised that the earth goes round the sun and that stars are beautiful and romantic. They are indicitive of a post-9/11 world where bland platitudes make everybody feel okay again.

For all this talk of Rachel Stevens, here is a quote from popjustice regarding her new album...

and 'I Will Be There' (which sounds like Pet Shop Boys' 'Miserablism' and comes equipped with one of the most brilliant "Ooh I'm dead but you're still alive and I quite love you" choruses in history).

That intrigues me because I love miserablism
