It'll definitely go top 20 but these days album sales are massive in the UK so it may be the first PSB studio album ever to miss the top 10 - unless the release date is brought forward to a quieter period.

It will go top 10, especially as there seems to be a buzz at the moment.

I hope you're right. I do think, however, that for that to happen, Minimal needs a good reaction from the public and much more radio/TV exposure than the last few PSB singles have received.

'Flamboyant' had rather a lot of TV exposure and I believe Radio 2 played it a lot (I do not know for certain since I am a Radio 1 listener!). So it all depends on a good reaction from the public....

Yeah, we can rely on Radio 2 but the key is a wide listenership - if the local stations playlist it too then that will be real progress. Unfortunately, about 40% of the locals are owned by the Capital Radio Group, and Capital haven't playlisted a PSB song since Se a vide e.

It will also get played on 6music, which is the radio station that serious music buyers are likely to listen to. Radio 1 doesn't really matter as they aren't Sean Paul are they!

I can quite understand why they do not playlist a PSB song after that ghastly garbage
The CELL by Stephen King instantly hit number 1 in New York Times Bookseller Lists selling well over 200 thousand copies in three weeks. This affirms my opinion: People really need an occassional good horror read...
