Also on that tour at the end of one of the songs both Neil and Chris had to pull off those spikey wigs before disappearing backstage......and Chris was struggling to get his off. Neil laughed and Chris probably swore :D
Having said all that....I think I prefere them not to wear costumes (or maybe just a bit of black leather )
Maybe he didn´t want to take it off anyway ´cause then he would have revealed his hair.
Interviewer:
-What would you tell someone about yourself if you wanted to impress them?

Chris:
-I´ve got a 12-inch plonker.

Costumes for Very were good, the Nightlife ones looked spooky!!!
I hope there's no costumes for this release.
The album titles look a bit serious or mature to me and after BP it would be a bit daft me thinks.....but if Matt and David are gonna be in the vid for Minimal then who knows, lol

I liked the look they had for Pop Art, Chris wtih the long hair, shades and shirt looked so cool...

I'm not that new by the way, I've been registered before but I've not been on for ages and I've forgot my name/password

Yes, they were cool! It's been the reason for
getting curious on 'Nightlife' and PSB again. I
have had nearly turned my back against 'em.

Can I ask - was that because of "Release"? Don't blame you if it was.

No, 'Release' was after 'Nightlife'. It was
because of the 'Very' aera. I did not like
it that much in former times. 'Go West'
was played way too often on the airs so
that it sucked (imagine, PSB sucking ).
I didn't like the vids and costumes and
stuff and I lost interest ...
When 'Se A Vida E' came out in the mid
90s and I cought the video on MTV by
chance I was passionless thinking 'hmm,
it's the Pet Shop Boys, nice one' ... I re -
discovered them in Nightlife aera, after
listening to 'Nightlife' I also finally bought
the missing 'Bilingual' (brilliant one, how
could I have missed it ) and also 'Very'
which I found brilliant (I listened to it lots
but still skipping 'Go West' ). At that
time I also discovered 'Alternative' (being
after the Lim. Ed. of 'Bilingual' in some re-
cord store or s. th. I suppose) and THAT's
it again, then ...
So, I liked 'Very' afterwards, but obvious-
ly disliked its singles when they came out.
I love 'Dreaming Of The Queen' and 'The
Theatre'! :D

I loved their look in "Very" era...
We're concerned, you're a threat. You are NOT INTEGRAL to the project...
