Lyrics, like paintings, are often open to interpretation. Not always, but often.

That's the beauty of art, I think. So what if you get a different meaning from a PSB song than what Neil or Chris intended. It's not WRONG, just DIFFERENT.

And if you end up going "Aaaah, ok..I THOUGHT that's what they were talking about", that's a GOOD thing too.
