I'm trying to get rid of vinyl, very awkward to move around. Last thing I want is lots of pretty piccy discs I'm never likely to play. I can even slightly understand the 12", but a 7"? What a waste of a format. This could have been a second CD. I would prefer to collect a CD with remixes or something different on. No wonder not sent me a postcard this time, probably too ashamed.

Soon will only be worth getting the album...and who is likely to stock it anyway?

I could understand this at £1.99 in favour of a 7" but a 7" as well? Doh!
You get the A-Side again and one B-side not on CD as such...

Great. So now I have PopArt DVD, Miracles (no video), Flamboyant in QT and I'm with stupid as a DVD. That's clever. Also it means that the choice for the GDC (probably a dig at the Cure LOL) bonus track are either a crappy 7" that wears out and crackles worse than the 12" or files you cannot play without converting to play on a CD player. Thanks.

I'm surprised that so many people don't like the Vinyl single. I was under the impression that Vinyl is coming back.

I think it's more that everyone would prefer a 2nd cd with remixes on it. I know I do.

Well I am not going back to 7" even if they bring them back. As useless as a cassingle in terms of a format. I want my music to be compact. I won't be able to move it all around. That's like bringing back VHS. The best thing they did was around Very and then drunk etc where gave away a sleeve for collectors. That made it all worthwhile, but this is a charting thing. I know they are good and don't give a toss if they make No1 or not. Just the Top 10 will do. Is all rigged anyway. They even have boys in a girlband now - see E4.

I shall buy the CD Single and DVD and then rip all the tracks and burn one decent CDR as it should be. But I shouldn't have to. In this day, everything should be CD or DVD as that is current technology. I don't want to have to convert everything in order to play a track easily. I can accept it wise to add a dvd player into your hifi stack.

Please boycott the 7" and lets get rid of it. Might even have made sense if it had carried on from Yesterday, when I was mad or whenever it was last, but to start again is madness. How many record decks do people own now. If you remember Euroboy was cassingle only for ages. I hate these stupid formats. I have Love comes quickly 7" with no b-side, so not worried about a stupid piccy cd I cannot buy from anywhere.

Even the promos are vinyls. Why can't people just stick to CD - then you can easily make up your own compilations.

I hate being forced to buy a format just to get a track.

MP3s I don't want to download. I like to buy singles and if I want MP3s, I can make my own.
