Does anyone actually think Robbie Williams is a good singer?

I think he sings quite well on some songs, i like his new one Rudebox very different and the one he did for the Noel Coward project There are bad times just around the corner is excellent.

At least Neil sounds distinctive and unique. Robbie just sings like a glorified pub singer.

It depends, I liked 'Tripping', I do not like his new single
on which you hear everything but rarely him (I do not
like it anyway!) and I find he did rather well on 'Jealou -
sy'. His singing ability seems OK to me.

er.. I don't like most of those either.

I do like No Regrets, but I've a feeling it's because of Neil. I'm looking forward to She's Madonna!

I think robbies got a nice voice. but like him and the singer for DM and NO it sounds like he just steps up to the mic and records as is.

whereas neil gets diffrent vocal styles and sounds per song.

Things like 'Better Man' and 'Make Me Pure' have a good Blobbie vocal on them. He's a Valiant just like me!

I've always thought the above statement was fairly accurate. The U.S. interviews I've seen with Robbie have never been flattering. I must admit that I can't stand the mixture of hubris and self-pity that comes out of his mouth. Of course this doesn't explain how other American celebs that act the same way can get by unharmed.
IMO, he's done many good songs (I still love "Lazy Days") and deserves the popularity he's achieved.
