1) I'm sure they could have carried on with attendances of 40,000 but added a few top drawer players, so they could win the champs league.
2) I don't think they will continue to get that support anyway. New stadium + Henry stopping last term, would have boosted gates. The novelty will waer off IMO.
3) They certainly missed Highbury. It was a fortress.

I think if Spurs had a better manager and realised our central midfield was shite, we might snatch third. Tottenham's strikeforce is the strongest in the Prem and Dawson and King are an excellent pairing at the back.

Leicester have already signed 10 players, with Stephen clemence and dj cambell on their way from birmingham. It wouldn't surprise me if we end up bringing 15 in total, several have left, theres a big shake up going on. Weve beaten off premiership clubs to sign some of them. Maybe we wont win it, but we fear no one now.

Didn't realise they had signed all those. That might have a downside though. Thats a lot of players that need to gel pretty quick. I hope all those new players aren't like Stephen Clemence. He is shite.
Apparently clemence is set to be captain. I dont see him as better than Sergio Hellings (from Ajax) or Kishishev (from charlton), or even young wesolowski, but squad building is king.
Not all of them will be first 11, probably about 6 of them.
Martin Allen is a very hard worker, he dont take any crap, he expects men to play for him, his nickname mad dog is evident in the way he behaves.
When he talks to the media, he comes accross like a fan manager, its so easy to relate to him.
I fancy Watford to do well, they have a good champo manager. Last season blackpool played with a flair, they know where the goal is, i cannot see them getting relegated, and might flirt with 6th place.
