Happy that Leeds beat the Plastic Scousers. If it wasn't for floating Everton and Liverpool fans, Tranmere would get gates of about 500.

And if it wasn't for Ken Bates and his brown envelopes, Leeds would have finished the match with about 8 players.

I tell you though, if ever a team was fashioned in the image of its manager, it's Leeds. Dirty, cheating and instantly dislikeable.

Tranmere were unfortunate to lose today, but they conceded two sloppy goals from set pieces. I think they'll be there or thereabouts this season. Zola will win his fair share of pens too; I lost count of how many times his shirt was pulled in the box by Leeds defenders.

Still, at least my number 1 team is winning at half-time :D

I'm certain that Liverpool will crush Chelsea this afternoon and prove that they will challenge Wigan for the Premier League this season.

Lampard to be sent off and Fat Frank TV to go off-air for twenty-four hours, playing classical music instead.

The thing is, the table doesnt really take shape until about 10 games in.

Its only because you can see Man Utd Pld 3 Pts 2 that everyone sort of takes notice.

If Man Utd had a mini bad run halfway through the season and picked up 2 points from 3 games, it wouldnt attract as much attention, although it would still raise eyebrows.

Why are we not, therefore raving on about Wigan or Man City winning the title?

Im not a MUFC fan, it might be that they are having their bad run now, look at Sunderland this time last year!!

Has anyone ever seen a worse refereeing performance than that? I can't think of one, not in the Premier League anyway.

Thats Rob Styles for you. He has to be centre of attention, especially on t.v. He will always make a rash, controversial decision.

Even though he gave them a lifeline, i could still see Chelsea scoring. It had draw written all over it which was why i had 20 notes on a draw @ 2/1. My free 20 quid bet is still running at Newmarket on Friday night.

I thought Torres looked a real threat today.
