Also, from the semi-finals, I think I might have been the only person to like the strange song from Belgium that didn't make it to the finals...
No, you're not alone. I liked it very much too! It was a charming tune, and as a clarinet player I give them extra praise for using that wonderful instrument on stage! :D

I'm really surprised that Sweden did so bad. :? Seems like everyone loved the song so was it the performance or the artist that ruined it? Can somebody outside Sweden explain what you thought?
I loved it, along with the Iceland song. It also topped the Radio Times poll so some of the UK liked it. I can't remember where our (UK) points went in the actual competition.
Same here. People just didn't get Charlotte's perfected image, I guess. The Swedish and Icelandic songs just sound like winners to me. Oh how I miss the 1999 ESC...

Yes you were

Edit : Oups sorry I did not see the previous message from Hillbilly. You are not alone then. You were then the two votes that we received.

In my opinion Bosnia was just wonderful.

You're welcome! However I never voted in the semifinals. I even couldn't vote in the first one, as only the participating countries could, which I though was a bit weird...

I agree about Bosnia. I love that one too. In fact I voted for that one and Norway in the final! For some reason those were the two countries who got Sweden's 10 and 12 points. :)

The Armenian bird was quite tasty, quite liked the Israel song. Funny though like Israel, most of the countries entering aren't really in Europe they are in Asia minor...
